1. Youth Employment for the Future of Agriculture, YEFFA Ethiopia Project.
– It is a 48-month project implemented in partnership with AGRA and Green Agro Solution (GAS) Plc. The project will be financed by the MasterCard Foundation. The project location is in 14 woredas found in 4 zones of Oromia.
● North Sehwa Zone: Aleltu, Deberelibanos, Berek, and Mendida.
● East Shewa Zone: Zukala, Melka Odda
● West Shewa Zone: Welmera, Ejere.
● Sheger City Administration: Gallan Arabsaa, Andode, Gafarsa Guje, rural Sabatta, Kurra Jidah, and Galan Gudda.
2. Harnessing forests and ecosystems for a climate-nature-people triple win (HARNESS)
– It is a 36-month project implemented by Farm Africa (Lead), SOS Sahel Ethiopia, NABU-Ethiopia, and Environment and Coffee Forest Forum (ECFF). The project will be financed by NORAD (The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation). The project will be implemented in 4 woredas in the Bale Ecoregion and 7 woredas in South Ethiopia. SOS SE will be responsible for two woredas in the Bale Eco Region (Berbere and Goba woredas). Apart from its role in providing expertise in rural development and sustainable land management, PFM, and support in scaling of REDD+ and deforestation-free models.
